The legend that started it all
H RH The Prince of Wales (who later became King Edward Vll) opened the legendary Langham Hotel, London Langham Hotels International's flagship property in 1865. Europe's first Grand Hotel has been restored and expanded to continue the tradition of superior service and luxurious amenities that have been enjoyed by royalty, foreign dignitaries and celebrities for more than l 40 years.
When the Langham reopened in 1991, it was once again the host of royalty including HRH Diana, Princes of Wales, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Kent. Celebrities still flock to the hotel as they did in the Victorian era, along with politicians, BBC's top brass, business moguls and media barons. Non-celebrity guests are just as welcome, most of them known by name by the Langham staff.
Classic hospitality and the needs of the modern world were combined to offer the new Langham guests complete satisfaction during their stay. Timeless elegance remains, but with a full range of leisure and technology features not typical of such an historical hotel.
Infinity Suite - Largest in London
Guests who stay in the expansive and opulent Infinity Suite will not be disappointed by their accommodation, attention to detail and sheer luxury of their surroundings. The Langham Butler, dedicated to the perfection of moments, is just one of the special touches for guests staying in the Suite. The Suite's most unique feature, beyond its expansive size, is the infinity bath in the master bathroom. Designed around the concept of chromatherapy, a touch of a button moves the water through a spectrum of eight colors within this ultra-deep bath.
The Langham Hotel Club
Guests in the Langham Hotel Club enjoy superior rooms and all-day access to a private lounge offering dedicated check-in, complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening canapes and champagne.
Dining
Among the dining choices, the elegant Palm Court reigns as "the place" for continental breakfast, snacks during the day and traditional English afternoon tea. Guests can also enjoy classical French cuisine with a delightful contemporary twist in Memories or a stylish cocktail in either Memories Cocktail Bar or the Chukka Bar.
Over the next two years, a new restaurant and a new bar will be added.
Meeting Space
For business travelers, The Langham, situated just minutes from London's major commercial districts, offers a wealth of superior meeting space: Grand Ballroom plus 11 other function rooms
